About me
Designer for over a decade. I work primarily on big, complicated, and advanced projects, requiring much experience, mainly in eCommerce and Fintech. I collaborate with many developers, business analysts, testers, marketing teams, and business representatives. I have a straightforward communication style and a strong work ethic. I value intelligence and efficiency, and I find it easy to build rapport with people who share these values.
I lived in Dublin, Ireland, where I worked in NetAffinity, the most prominent online hotel marketing agency. I was involved in creating a new hotel booking system with many additional features, like cross-selling and up-selling, e.g., restaurant bookings, golf tee bookings, and more.
After eight years in Dublin, I returned to my family town, Olsztyn, where I successfully freelanced as a product and web designer for clients worldwide. Two years later, I joined Speednet, one of Poland's largest software houses with over 170 employees and contractors. My time at Speednet has been marked by successful projects and a commitment to excellence.
Outside of work, I lead an active and diverse lifestyle. I enjoy sailing on the local lakes, playing golf on the nearby course, and cycling through the forest on my mountain bike. I'm a fan of electronic music, particularly melodic techno and progressive house, and I'm always on the lookout for new movies and TV series to watch.
I'm 40+ years old. I have a beautiful, brave, super-smart wife and an amazing, talented teenage daughter; I'm very proud of her. I hope she will follow in my footsteps because a career as a designer is a great future.
