High-pace PropTech and a new way of working

Three apps, real users in the US, decisions driven by data — and the moment AI tooling permanently changed how I prototype, test hypotheses, and hand off to Figma.

SFR3 moved faster than any environment I had worked in. Not startup-theatre fast — instrumented fast. Assumptions lost to numbers. The CEO’s opinion lost to users. Three product surfaces had to stay coherent for house renters, service people, and management while the team iterated in public.

Three products

Turning point: thrown into the deep end

V0 and AI tooling with “figure it out.” That rewired the practice: prototype to learn, Figma to finish.

How I build diagram: V0 for logic and working prototype, test live with stakeholders and users, then Figma for developer handoff, with an iterate-until-evidence-is-clear loop — The Staff takeaway: speed with judgment — tools change, the sequence does not.

Polished Figma designs for move-out in progress, holdover, and final statement states — Figma follow-through — the same move-out journey, finished for handoff.

Outcomes

No invented metrics. Outcome: products shaped by evidence, and a permanent upgrade in how I deliver under ambiguity.

What scaled

The workflow followed me to Byggmakker — where I convinced the team to treat working prototypes as the default meeting artifact — and then to almatar. Both have their own cases: Byggmakker MyPages and almatar Design System.
